# Organize with AI (OwAI) > Local-first photo and video search and organization for macOS, Windows and Linux, with MCP tools for AI assistants. The desktop app is free for local use. Local and remote MCP require permanent Cloud Access. Hosted inference and cloud indexing use prepaid credits. Cloud index sync stores metadata and embeddings, not original media. Remote MCP does not stream image or video bytes. The guides below explain connection setup, ownership, permissions and command completion; they do not grant access to any user's library. Live MCP tool discovery is the authoritative API contract. ## MCP guides (English) - [Connect Claude, Gemini and Codex to OwAI with MCP](https://organizewith.ai/en/guides/connect-ai-assistants/index.md): Connect an AI assistant to your photo and video library with OwAI MCP. Set up local or remote access, authorize your account, and run your first search. - [Local vs remote MCP for your photo library](https://organizewith.ai/en/guides/local-vs-remote-mcp/index.md): Learn where OwAI MCP searches run, what works offline, how changes reach your desktop, and why remote search does not upload or stream your original media. - [Manage photos, collections and duplicates with AI](https://organizewith.ai/en/guides/manage-media-with-ai/index.md): Use OwAI MCP to search photos and video moments, create collections and groups, label people, and review duplicates with folder scope and explicit deletion consent. ## Product - [OwAI overview](https://organizewith.ai/en): Free local media organization and optional Cloud Access. - [Features](https://organizewith.ai/en/features): Search, video moments, people, collections and duplicate review. - [Pricing](https://organizewith.ai/en/pricing): Current Cloud Access price, included credits and credit packs. - [Download](https://organizewith.ai/en/download): Official desktop installers. - [MCP setup (HTML)](https://organizewith.ai/en/guides/connect-ai-assistants): Readable browser version and related guides.
